Men hans tillst\u00e5nd f\u00f6rv\u00e4rrades i juni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sonen Hamza sa: &#8220;Vi fick h\u00f6ra att han inte var l\u00e4mplig f\u00f6r transplantation. I juli sa de att han hade lite tid kvar. Sedan gick han i koma och de pratade bara en vecka.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article22823873.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_PROD-WhatsApp_Image_2020-10-01_at_205023.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hamza, 32, och fru Zubera, 30, hade redan b\u00f6rjat s\u00f6ka efter att f\u00e5 sin pappa att transplantera med honom som donator. Han sa: &#8220;Vi tittade p\u00e5 platser som Indien och Kina. Sedan kontaktade vi sjukhuset i Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8220;De ville se hans register och behandlingar. De kom tillbaka och sa till oss att pappa inte hade mycket tid. Det var ett litet tillf\u00e4lle, vi fick honom n\u00e4stan inte ut i tid.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Kl\u00e4dbutiks\u00e4garen Zahid, fr\u00e5n Lytham St Annes, Lancs, l\u00e5g i koma i sex dagar. N\u00e4r han kom ut ur det, s\u00e4ger Hamza att l\u00e4kare p\u00e5 Blackpool Victoria Hospital sa att han var f\u00f6r sjuk f\u00f6r att l\u00e4mna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article22823872.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_PROD-WhatsApp_Image_2020-10-01_at_205018.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">S\u00e5 den 11 augusti skrev Zahid ut sig sj\u00e4lv och f\u00f6rdes med privat ambulans till Manchesters flygplats, d\u00e4r ett privatjetplan med en l\u00e4kare och sjuksk\u00f6terska ombord v\u00e4ntade p\u00e5 att flyga honom till Turkiet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tre dagar senare gick far och son under kniven p\u00e5 Florence Nightingale-sjukhuset i Istanbul. Hamza sa: &#8220;I Storbritannien f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker man hitta en avliden donator f\u00f6rst, men i Turkiet kommer n\u00e4stan varje transplantation fr\u00e5n en levande donator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article22823871.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_PROD-WhatsApp_Image_2020-10-01_at_205020.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201dFamiljerna \u00e4r st\u00f6rre och mer sammansvetsade. Jag skulle g\u00f6ra vad som helst f\u00f6r pappa \u2013 jag var hans enda livlina. Vi skyndade oss igenom testerna och hann knappt pausa innan vi skulle opereras.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Parallellt med 12-timmarsoperationer den 14 augusti gav Hamza sin far 70 procent av sin lever, som kommer att v\u00e4xa tillbaka till normal storlek. Han sa: &#8220;Pappas lever hade n\u00e4stan f\u00f6rst\u00f6rts s\u00e5 de tog lite mer \u00e4n normalt.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Flygresan till Istanbul kostade 22 000 pund och operation 60 000 pund. Det befaras att summan kommer att \u00f6verstiga 100 000 pund. Fr\u00e5n sjukhuset i Turkiet sa Zahid, som ocks\u00e5 har en dotter, Annum, 28: &#8220;Jag \u00e4r tacksam f\u00f6r att min familj v\u00e4grar ge upp mig. Jag hade varit en d\u00f6d man om jag stannat l\u00e4ngre.
