Vi deltar i akademiska evenemang via onlineutbildningstr\u00e4ffar f\u00f6r nationella och internationella hematologer som arbetar p\u00e5 BMT-centra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Vad \u00e4r benm\u00e4rg? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Benm\u00e4rg \u00e4r ett svampigt material som finns i de ih\u00e5liga mitten av vissa ben. Det \u00e4r viktigt eftersom det inneh\u00e5ller speciella celler som kallas stamceller.<\/p>\n<p>Stamceller skapar andra specialiserade celler som utf\u00f6r viktiga funktioner. De nya stamcellerna tar \u00f6ver produktionen av blodkropparna.<\/p>\n<p>Under vissa omst\u00e4ndigheter kan det vara m\u00f6jligt att ta din egen benm\u00e4rg fr\u00e5n en annan del av din kropp (detta kallas autolog transplantation). Benm\u00e4rgen kan rensas fr\u00e5n alla sjuka celler innan den returneras.<\/p>\n<h3>Stadier av BMT-processen<\/h3>\n<p>Det finns fem steg i transplantationsprocessen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En fysisk unders\u00f6kning av din kropp och allm\u00e4nna h\u00e4lsotillst\u00e5nd<\/li>\n<li>Skaffa stamcellerna som kommer att anv\u00e4ndas i transplantationen (k\u00e4nd som sk\u00f6rd)<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6rbereda din kropp f\u00f6r transplantationen (k\u00e4nd som konditionering)<\/li>\n<li>Transplantering av stamceller<\/li>\n<li>\u00c5terh\u00e4mtningsperioden, under vilken du kommer att \u00f6vervakas f\u00f6r eventuella biverkningar och komplikationer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Varf\u00f6r \u00e4r BMT n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt?<\/h3>\n<p>Stamcellstransplantationer kr\u00e4vs ofta f\u00f6r att behandla tillst\u00e5nd som har skadat benm\u00e4rgen som till f\u00f6ljd av detta inte l\u00e4ngre kan producera normala blodkroppar. Varje st\u00f6rning av produktionen av blodkroppar kan vara mycket allvarlig, s\u00e4rskilt om:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Du har inte tillr\u00e4ckligt med r\u00f6da blodkroppar. Din kropp kommer att sv\u00e4ltas p\u00e5 syre, du kommer att k\u00e4nna dig matt och tr\u00f6tt och skador p\u00e5 dina organ kan uppst\u00e5.<\/li>\n<li>Du har inte tillr\u00e4ckligt med vita blodkroppar. Cancern g\u00f6r att de vita blodkropparna replikerar p\u00e5 ett okontrollerbart s\u00e4tt och de utvecklar inga infektionsbek\u00e4mpande egenskaper.<\/p>\n<p>Cancercellerna kan snabbt spridas genom blodomloppet, vilket resulterar i att det inte finns plats f\u00f6r r\u00f6da blodkroppar och blodpl\u00e4ttar.<\/p>\n<p>Detta leder till symtom p\u00e5 anemi, \u00f6kar risken f\u00f6r allvarlig infektion och g\u00f6r att du l\u00e4ttare f\u00e5r bl\u00e5m\u00e4rken och bl\u00f6der.<\/p>\n<h4>Non-Hodgkins lymfom<\/h4>\n<p>Non-Hodgkins lymfom \u00e4r en annan typ av cancer i de hittillsvarande blodkropparna. Men snarare \u00e4n att spridas genom blodomloppet, sprids det genom lymfsystemet. Lymfsystemet \u00e4r en serie anslutna k\u00f6rtlar (noder) som \u00e4r spridda \u00f6ver hela din kropp. Det \u00e4r en viktig del av ditt immunf\u00f6rsvar, kroppens naturliga f\u00f6rsvar mot infektioner.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00c4rftliga (genetiska) blodsjukdomar<\/h4>\n<p>Det finns ett antal genetiska blodsjukdomar d\u00e4r f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar (mutationer) i dina gener g\u00f6r att blodkropparna inte utvecklas normalt.
