Associate professor. Erkan Kaba was born on 14.11.1980 in Adapazarı. He completed his medical education at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of medicine between 1999-2005.

He completed his specialty education in Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of medicine, department of thoracic surgery between 2006-2011 and became a thoracic surgery specialist in 2011. He fulfilled his duty of public service obligation in Erzurum regional training and research hospital between 2011-2013.

He has been working as a lecturer in Demiroğlu Science University Faculty of medicine, department of thoracic surgery, department of surgical medical sciences since 2013, and she has been working as the head of the department since 2017.
