He graduated from ege university faculty of medicine in 1991. Dr. Sezer sağlam completed his “internal diseases” specialization in cerrahpaşa medical faculty in january 1996. He worked as a hemodialysis physician for two years. Later, sezer sağlam completed his “medical oncology” examination at ıstanbul university oncology ınstitute between january 2002 and january 2005.

His studies on “gastrointestinal cancers” are concentrated. In addition, he has his own patent work on reducing chemotherapy toxicity (side effects). He has high experience in treatments performed without permanent bag opening (colostomy) in rectum cancer. Prof. Sezer sağlam is a member of asco (american society of clinical oncology).
