Spinal Diseases & Scoliosis

Our clinic is a center where up to date treatment methods applied by experienced and specialist doctors in all sub-branches of Orthopedics and Traumatology Department. A large number of domestic and overseas meetings are conducted every year, many local and foreign researcher fellows, visit our department and take part in scientific studies.

Childhood and adult scoliosis, neck and lower back disc hernias, fractures and dislocations, infections, tumors, spondylolisthesis, and degenerative spinal problems are treated using the latest developments in science at our scoliosis and spine surgery center.


Spondylolisthesis means forward displacement of one vertebra over the vertebra below. With slippage, spinal cord in the spine is compressed, resulting in pain, numbness and heat in either of the legs.

2 and 3 Dimensional Imagining with EOS Ultra Low Radiation

It is possible to use up to 10 times lower dosage of radiation than conventional radiography through EOS method used for patients with a spinal disease.

Sudden Onset (Acute) Low Back Pain

The term “acute low back pain” is often used for back pains with sudden onset or experienced within the last six weeks. This pain can be strong and severe, or sometimes patients describe it as feeling the heat or stab. The severity can vary between mild and severe, and go up and down. The pain can spread into either of the hips, or femur.

Cervical Disc Hernia and Degenerative Diseases

Diagnosis of cervical disc hernia involves a detailed examination of patient. Magnetic resonance imagining is commonly used as an invasive and sensitive method to diagnose cervical disc hernia. It can be utilized to support diagnose in patients with radiculopathy, and in electrophysiological examinations (EMG) for differential diagnosis.
