He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Levent Özgönenel completed his specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FTR) in 2003 in Istanbul Training and Research Hospital Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department.

He completed his master’s degree in Marmara University, Department of Electrodiagnostics of Neurological Departments in 2010. In 2006, he succeeded in the European Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Board exam and was awarded the European Board Certificate.

Prof. Levent Özgönenel has been working in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department of Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals since 2014. He is the head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Bilim University.
